Effective immediately the commander of each division will have the authority to change and implement new rules that affect their division.
Members that disagree with a decision made by their Commander or any other member of their chain of command can post that decision in the forums for review by the clan leaders.
The following clan rules will remain in effect and cannot be altered by a division Commander.
1. Member requirements 2. All Ventrilo operating procedures. 3. Server rules. 4. Disciplinary board procedures. 5. Member voting procedures. 6. The rank structure. Commanders can change the duties for each rank but each division must use the current rank structure. 7. Promotions. The current promotion system will be used.
The promotion system will have the following revisions.
1. Starting with the rank of SPC in order to be eligible for promotion to the next higher rank you must have recruited a new clan member within 90 days.
The clan leaders will have the ability with a majority vote to overturn a decision made by a division commander.[/color]
Member requirements.
1. Minimum age is 13. Can be waived by a division member vote. 2. Must have an operational microphone. 3. Members are encouraged to create a SMAKU AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) account. 4. No prior account bans. Can be waived by a division member vote. 5. Must meet all the primary divisions training requirements. 6. Can not be a member of another clan for any type game. 7. Must speak English.
Server rules
1. No hacking 2. No glitching 3. No cheating 4. No intentional team killing. 5. Do not accuse other players of hacking, cheating, or glitching 6. No profanity in open chat. This applies to all servers SMAKU and non SMAKU. 7. If possible all SMAKU members will be on the same team 8. Treat all players with respect. 9. Do not portray SMAKU in a negative manner. 10. English only in open chat.

Ventrilo rules
1. Profanity is allowed in all ventrilo channels. 2. Sexual, racial, national, religious, and cultural insults will not be tolerated. 3. No personal attacks on other members. 4. Use the correct ventrilo channel. 5. Members will wear their full tags division ID and rank while logged into ventrilo. 6. Passwords are not to be given out over ventrilo. 7. A member that is banned from ventrilo will remain banned until the next AA meeting. The top 3 Clan leaders can remove ventrilo bans. 8. Banned players that reenter ventrilo using another IP address are to be banned immediately.
Procedures for dealing with annoying SMAKU members on ventrilo.
1. Make sure you are in the correct ventrilo channel. 2. Ask the member to be quite, do not tell another member to shut up. 3. Mute the player. 4. Notify the highest ranking member on ventrilo of the problem 5. Kick the member 6. Ban the member. 7. Members that are disrupting a ventrilo can be banned without first being muted or kicked.
Steps 5 and 6 above require a post on the forums in the Disciplinary Board section. Failure to follow these steps can result in disciplinary action.
Recruiting Revised 07/2009

Meetings Revised 07/2009
1. Division meetings are scheduled IAW each divisions rules. 2. Meetings are not mandatory. 3. Promotions Revised 07/2009
1. The promotion board meets at the discretion of the division Co. 2. Promotion from PVT to PV2 requires a clan vote after the first 30 days. 3. Promotion from PV2 to PFC and PCF to SPC are made by the Co and Xo and will be based on clan activity. 4. Promotions to the rank of CPL and above are made by the Co and Xo and are based highest promotion points. 5. Inactive members in the ranks of PV2-SPC are not eligible for promotion. 6. Members in the rank of CPL and above will be demoted to SPC after 30 days of inactivity. 7. Active duty military are exempt from all activity level requirements and can not be demoted. 8. Amy member that donates a minimum of $40 each month or a one time donation of $400 will be promoted to the rank of W1. Keeping this rank in contingent upon the member maintaining the required level of donation. 9. Demotions
1. Demotions for failure to perform division duties will be at the discretion of the division Co. The division Co will brief the one of the three clan leaders on all demotions. 2. Any member that is demoted can appeal by posting in the forums on SMAKUGAMES.COM. Within 30 days of the demotion the clan leaders will meet and decide the appeal. 3. Leadership positions that become empty due to a division demotion will not be filled until the results of any appeal have been decided and posted on the forums. 4. Abuse of the authority to demote by any division Commander will be grounds for removal from the Co position and possible removal from the clan.
Disciplinary Board
1. All members are encouraged to post violations of the clan rules in the DB section of the forums. 2. All disciplinary action will be determined by the clan disciplinary board. 3. The disciplinary board will consist of the top three ranking clan members, COL, LTCOL, and MAJ and the CO or XO of the division. 4. Removal from the clan requires a clan vote and can only be initiated on the recommendations of the DB. 5. Violation of a clan rule or division rule as a PVT can result in removal from the clan. 6. Removal of a PVT from the clan only requires a vote by the 3 clan leaders.

Training

1. CPT Division commander: Keeping the game server up to date with all current mods and maps. Conduct the division meeting and record and post the meeting notes. Conduct the division promotion board. Conduct the division disciplinary board. Attend the division leaders meeting.
2. 1LtT Division XO: Maintain the division website Attend the division promotion board. Attend the division disciplinary board.
3. 2LT Division Operations Officer: Conduct the division awards game. Maintain the division website.
4. 1SG Supervise the recruitment program
5. SFC Maintain the division member list.
6. SSG Supervise the training program and record all training.
7. SGT Conduct all required training. Post and record the results of all Poll Votes. 8. CPL Maintain the download section of the division website with current mods and maps. Monitor the division forums.
Divisions without a 2LT the awards game will be conducted by the XO. Divisions without a SFC the 1SG will maintain the members list. Divisions without a SSG the SGT will record the results of all training.
Rank Structure
Divisions with less than 25 members will be limited to the following ranks:
1 CO 1 XO 1 1SG 1 SGT 1 CPL
When a division reaches 25 members the following positions will open:
1 2LT 1 SFC 1 SSG
When a division reaches 50 members the following positions will be added:
1 additional SGT 2 additional CPL
Each Division will be commanded by a CPT.
